A certificate of occupancy has been issued for The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg House at 132 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton. The senior housing development features 61 affordable apartments and 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. Seven residences will be reserved for formerly homeless seniors, and five residences will be reserved for seniors with lifelong disabilities. A second-floor pedestrian bridge connects 132 Chestnut Hill Avenue to 2Life Communities existing 700-unit campus and amenities.

Construction Progressing for Affordable Housing Development in Roxbury
Window install is complete and siding install is moving forward for the Madison Melnea Cass Apartments in Roxbury. The project consists of a new 4-story, a 16-unit building at 40 Raynor Circle and a 5-story, 60-unit building along Melnea Cass Boulevard. The project is developed in partnership between The Madison Park Development Corporation, Boston Housing Authority and Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. The units will range from deeply affordable to market rate and are expected to be complete in May of this year.

Core in Place for Vita JP as Framing Continues
The concrete core is in place with wood and steel framing rising for Vita JP. The exterior of VITA is designed to create an urban townhouse image above a brick retail base with large glass storefronts. The corner is defined by a tower element that projects out and angles slightly to define the entry. The project will include 82 condominium homes along with first floor retail. Resident amenities will include garage parking, bike storage, and a spacious roof deck with grills and a fire pit.Construction is set to be complete this summer.
