Interior and exterior finishing underway at 450 Cambridge Street apartments in Allston


Facade work is nearing completion at 450 Cambridge Street, with all bricks and windows installed and affixing of the last exterior finishing panels underway. Inside the building, fit out of residences and common spaces is well underway. 450 Cambridge Street will feature 40 apartment residences and 1,630 square feet of ground-floor retail. Leasing of residences at 450 Cambridge Street will commence in the coming months. The following are photographs of 450 Cambridge Street:

Longwood II Residences

Wingate aiming for Q2 2018 groundbreaking on Longwood II Residences, 115 new Mission Hill apartments


Wingate Companies aims to break ground in the second quarter of 2018 on Longwood II Residences, a new residential building in Mission Hill featuring 115 studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartment residences. The building would be located next to The Longwood, an existing 14-story, 147-unit apartment building owned by the proponent. Longwood II Residences would feature desirable amenities including a club room, a meeting room, a fitness center, a ground-floor outdoor courtyard and a roof deck. Construction of the building would take 16 months. Wingate has filed a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) proposing to construct Longwood II Residences. The project is now under official review.


450 Cambridge Street

Facade installation underway at 450 Cambridge Street apartments in Allston


450 Cambridge Street’s classic brick facade has been installed across large sections of the building’s topped-off four-story frame, and windows and weatherproofing are in place throughout. The facade will also consist of sections of silver metal panels, which will be installed shortly. Inside the building, finishing of apartments and common spaces is underway. 450 Cambridge Street will feature 40 apartment residences with 1,630 square feet of ground-floor retail. Longwood II Residences

115 new apartments proposed in Mission Hill


Wingate Companies, owner of The Longwood residential tower in Mission Hill, proposes to demolish the tower’s adjacent parking garage at 95 St. Alphonsus Street and construct a 6-story residential building, Longwood II Residences, containing 115 apartments. A Letter of Intent (LOI) to construct the building has been filed with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA). Additional information about Longwood II Rsidences, including renderings and a detailed project program, will be filed in the coming months.


111 Cypress Street

New Brookline Hills apartment building proposed at 111 Cypress Street


The Aspen Group, on behalf of 107-111 Cypress Realty Trust, filed a Project Eligibility Application with MassHousing to construct a new seven-story apartment building at 111 Cypress Street in Brookline. The project team proposes to demolish an existing two-story building on site and construct a new building consisting of 99 residential rental units. The new building would provide 105 parking spaces for residents.
