Building Permits Issued for Soldiers Field Road Residential Project
Two building permits have been issued for the upcoming new construction buildings at 21 Soldiers Field Place and 1550 Soldiers Field Road. The larger building at 1550 will feature 211 market-rate apartments and 149 parking spaces. 21 Soldiers Field Place will house 38 condos, all designated affordable, along with 27 parking spaces. The two buildings have been designed to be complementary and both feature ample outdoor green space.

Facade Going Up For The Residences at Forest Hills
Facade install, featuring a few splashes of color, is ongoing for The Residences at Forest Hills. The three-building, transit-oriented project will include 250 rental apartments, 50 of which are designated affordable, along with over 4,000 square feet of retail space. A lower level parking garage on the site will feature room for 130 cars and 250 bikes.

Construction Continues for 300+ Unit Project at Alewife Station
Construction is ongoing with siding install well underway up for the first building in the project and windows and sheathing going up for the second. The Residences at Alewife will feature 320 apartments in total, ranging in size from studios through 3 bedrooms. Amenities on-site will include a fitness center, pool, and theater room. The project located next to Alewife Station will also include a 243 car parking garage with space for over 350 bikes.

Rough Framing Complete for HRI Concord Highlands
Wood framing is in place for the upcoming 100% affordable residential project along Concord Ave. across from Fresh Pond in Cambridge. HRI Concord Highlands will feature 98 units, a mix of 1 through 3 bedrooms with levels of affordability ranging from below 30% AMI through 100% AMI. Construction is expected to be complete in January 202 and the lottery for the residences will take place this winter.

Wood Framing Going Up for Orient Heights Phase II
Wood framing is in progress for the second phase of the Orient Heights redevelopment project. All existing buildings, dating back to 1951, will be demolished and replaced with new townhouse and mid-rise buildings. The new buildings will contain a total of 331 public housing units ranging in size from one to five bedrooms. This phase will include two new townhomes and one midrise building, totaling 88 units.

Boston East Refinanced for $55 Million
The property at 126 Border Street has been refinanced for $55 million via TD Bank.
Boston East is a six-story mixed-use development on the East Boston Waterfront. Boston East features 200 residential apartments and public waterfront amenities including a Harborwalk, art galleries, historic interpretive exhibits, available kayaks and paddleboards and a boat launch.

Construction Complete for The Graphic Lofts in Charlestown
Charlestown's newest luxury residential project, The Graphic Lofts, is now open. The project features a total of 171 rental units, a mix of studios through three bedrooms with prices ranging from $2071 up to $6365 per month. Amenities at The Graphic include a game room, fitness center, and concierge service. The ground floor of the project also includes a 5,000 square foot commercial space.

Site Work Ongoing for North Quincy 600+ Unit Project
Site work is ongoing for the upcoming 610 apartment unit project at the North Quincy MBTA Station being developed by Atlantic Development and Bozzuto. The project will also include 50,000 square feet of commercial/retail space and 1,600 parking spaces, replacing 852 existing on the site. Luxury community amenities will include two outdoor courtyards and pool deck, along with nearly 20,000 square feet of indoor amenities, including a club lounge, commercial kitchen, solarium with outdoor access, co-working space & a fitness center with yoga and spin. Phase 1 of the project is expected to be complete in 2020.

Facade install is nearly complete for the new 5-story apartment building at 249 Third Street in Kendall Square. The project will include 84 apartments and 1,540 square feet of ground-floor retail. Framing and Exterior Work Ongoing for The Residences at Alewife Station
The two new buildings for The Residences at Alewife station along the Concord Turnpike in Cambridge are taking shape with siding install ongoing for the first half of the project and wood framing going up next door. These buildings will feature 320 apartments just steps from the Redline. Units will be a mix of studios and 1, 2 and 3-bedrooms with resident amenities set to include a fitness center, pool, yoga studio, and theater room. The development will also have 243 vehicle parking spaces and 336 long-term bike parking spaces.
