Interior finish work is underway at The Farmhouse Residences at 19 Cheshire Street. The windows and doors have been trimmed out, and many of the special details including two-piece crown moldings, beadboard ceilings, and shiplap staircase walls have been installed.

The Ballas Group will begin construction in the coming weeks on a new condominium building with ground-floor retail at the site of the former James Gate Pub in Jamaica Plain.
