100 Federal Street atrium frame construction underway
Steel erection is well underway for the 17,990-square-foot glass-encased atrium addition to the 100 Federal Street office tower in Post Office Square. The addition will soon top off, with primary steel framing elements installed in addition to many secondary steel elements and mechanical platforms. Once steel erection is complete, glazing installation will begin in order to construct the building's glass curtain wall facade overlooking Post Office Square. Upon completion, the new 100 Federal Street atrium will house 8,500 square feet of retail space and 500 square feet of kiosk space, in addition to 8,990 square feet of open garden space.
