LodgeWorks acquires site of future Archer Hotel at 3rd Avenue in Burlington for $4 million


The future Archer Hotel at 3rd Avenue in Burlington took a step forward last Wednesday with developer LodgeWorks' acquisition of the hotel's 2.75-acre future site for $4 million as recorded in the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds. Prominently located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, the Archer Hotel will feature 147 keys and guest amenities including a restaurant, conference rooms, a health club, a swimming pool and 147 on-site parking spaces. Construction has begun on the hotel, replacing a recently-demolished R&D building. The Burlington Planning Board approved the Archer Hotel for construction in December 2015. The Archer Hotel site's seller is Nordblom Company, proponent of the 3rd Avenue development project in Burlington. The hotel will be located along walkable 3rd Avenue steps to multiple restaurants and shops in addition to a Wegman's supermarket. The hotel will be LodgeWorks' fourth Archer Hotel. LodgeWorks recently launched the Archer Hotel boutique hotel brand as a boutique arm with an emphasis upon luxury and personal service. Wichita, Kansas-based LodgeWorks has developed over 120 hotel projects.
