Torrington Properties acquires six-story Downtown Crossing building for $12 million
Yesterday (September 19th, 2016), Torrington Properties of South Boston acquired the six-story, 22,360 square foot building at 29-35 Temple Place in Downtown Crossing for $12 million as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. The sale amounts to approximately $537 per square foot. First Republic Bank provided a mortgage of $11 million for Torrington Properties' acquisition. 29-35 Temple Street last sold in July 2008 for $3.7 million.
