Updated plans revealed for proposed Chestnut Hill mixed-use building
Plans for the proposed mixed-use building at 1180 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill have been updated to include new resident amenities. Plans now call for new private outdoor terraces along apartments on upper floors. These terraces would be incorporated into the building’s façade. Approximately 1,000 square feet of additional tenant amenity space are also now proposed. Ground-floor retail space has been reduced by 1,490 square feet to 5,560 square feet, down from 7,050 square feet as originally proposed. The proposed building’s height has also been reduced by 4 feet, and on-site parking spaces have been reduced to 69 from 80. The updated plans are now being reviewed by Brookline’s Planning and Zoning Boards.
