Northeastern University Columbus Avenue Student Housing Project approved for construction
The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved Northeastern University's Columbus Avenue Student Housing Project for construction at last Thursday’s board meeting. Developed by Northeastern University and American Campus Communities, the $160 million project will construct a 21-story tower containing 221 student housing units with a total of 812 beds, in addition to approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Construction could start this year; John Moriarty & Associates is the project's construction manager.
