Developers acquire long-vacant Savin Hill Avenue storefront for $850K


This morning, 102-110 Savin Hill Ave LLC, a Milton, MA-based limited liability company managed by James Baker and John C. McDonough organized to "own, manage, develop and lease" real estate, acquired the long-vacant storefront at 102-110 Savin Hill Avenue in Dorchester for $850K as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. The 3,458 square foot single-story building stands on a 3,858 square foot parcel located across from the Savin Hill MBTA Red Line station and Savin Bar and Kitchen. 102-110 Savin Hill Ave LLC also secured a $611,250 mortgage today for 102-110 Savin Hill Avenue through Bank of Canton.


The Dorchester Reporter reports that 102-110 Savin Hill Avenue was seized by the City of Boston in November 2015 and that there are concerns regarding the building's structural integrity. The previous owner acquired the building in 2004 for $790,000. The following is the deed for today's sale of 102-110 Savin Hill Avenue to 102-110 Savin Hill Ave LLC:
