Harvard Life Lab approved for construction
The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved the Harvard Life Lab for construction at last night's board meeting. The Harvard Gazette reports the lab is scheduled to open this fall. Teams can now apply for space and mentorship at the lab on the Harvard Innovation Lab's website.
The Harvard Life Lab will empower science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) innovation, building upon the success of the existing Harvard Innovation Lab by nurturing life science startups. The lab will also sponsor STEM workshops for local residents and contribute funds towards the purchase of Chromebook laptops for Allston-Brighton public school students.
