BPDA Approves 3 New Projects Plus 4 NPC

During the November BPDA meeting, the board approved 3 new projects totaling 597 residential units, including Allston Square & 3368 Washington Street. Four project changes were also approved plus several public hearings were scheduled for the December meeting which will be held on the 12th. Here is a recap of the approvals and what is on the docket for next month.

Approved Projects

99-105 Fairmount: 47 apartments (6 affordable), 2 commercial spaces, 33 parking spaces
Allston Square: 348 apartments (45 affordable & 12 live/work units), 15,155 SF retail, 158 parking spaces
3368 Washington: 202 apartments all to be designated affordable

Notice of Project Change Approved

270 Baker Street:60 units changed from condos to all affordable rental units, reduction in parking from 90 to 60 spaces
Winthrop Center: Total square footage decreased from 1,650,000 to approximately 1,545,021. The number of residential units cut from 500 to 387. Office SF increased from 750K to 772, 422. One level of garage parking eliminated.
Seaport Square Block N: Change of use from a primarily residential building to office/lab space.
350 Boylston: NPC for Lapse of Time no material changes to the project

6 Stack Street, Washington Village NPC, Allston Yards, Kenmore Hotel
