BPDA Approves Hotel at 150 Kneeland Street
The Boston Planning Board has approved Hudson Group's plan for a 21-story, 230 room hotel on the long-vacant site of the former Splash Nightclub in the Leather District. The hotel, designed by RODE features a sleek design with a double height lobby which will include a publically accessible cafe. The development will also bring much-needed pedestrian and safety improvements to the area. The Hudson Group has also committed to a 10-year plan that will offer 300 free hotel nights annually to people in need of short-term housing.
