Brooke Charter High School acquires land for new Mattapan building
Brooke Charter High School has acquired the 2.38-acre Mattapan parcel on which it will build a new 95,000-square-foot school building for $1,419,816, or $596,561.35 per acre. The land’s seller is New Boston Fund, developer of the adjacent Olmsted Green residential development. The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) approved Brooke’s new building in March. Construction of Brooke’s new building is anticipated to commence this Spring, with occupancy expected by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year.
