Construction complete at new Tufts University Science and Engineering Complex


Tufts University has unveiled its’ state-of-the-art new Science and Engineering Complex (SEC), a 175,000-square-foot facility dedicated to STEM education located on the university’s Medford campus. The SEC features a combination of a 79,000-square-foot new-construction addition and 96,000 square feet of renovated space, containing laboratories, classrooms, support rooms and other core facilities. The SEC is built to LEED Platinum sustainability specifications and is located steps from the future College Avenue station on the MBTA Green Line Extension.
