Flush

Site management is a significant undertaking no matter the size and scope of a project. From smaller events like fairs and concerts, to larger projects such as construction sites and movie sets, there are always multiple tasks to handle daily. With many people on site and nonstop activity, the last thing any site manager wants to attend to is finding and maintaining available bathrooms.

Flush Portable Restrooms, a local portable toilet—or “porta-potty”—distributor, has been servicing the Greater Boston area since 2013 and can provide everything from standard toilet units to decked-out deluxe trailers. Flush has serviced major construction sites such Pier 4 in the Seaport District as well as the new Everett Casino. Flush is also the exclusive portable toilet provider for just about every major movie set in the Greater Boston area, most recently including “Black Mass” and “Ted 2.”

We spoke to Shaun Nichols, Director of Sales and Marketing at Flush, about the company’s success and what makes Flush stand out against the competition:

How would you sum up your brand?

Our brand at Flush is very personable. We think the personal connection is a big reason we’ve become who we are. We believe that putting a name to the face of our employees at job sites benefits both Flush and the contractor. Each Flush employee proudly wears a nametag in addition to complying with all the necessary safety and uniform requirements.

We are a local Boston brand. Our employees are Teamster-affiliated, and we pride ourselves on being members of the Local 25 union.

How does Flush differentiate itself from the competition?

Our streamlined, personalized system of maintenance at each site we serve increases our reputability and helps us deliver top-notch service. Each site gets an account manager who will be able to answer any questions or concerns customers may have. Unlike other companies, Flush doesn't want you to have to call an 800 number and wait around to get into contact with someone. The site manager has a direct line to the account manager if something is needed.

At Flush, we schedule regular maintenance checks for all of our sites. A regular maintenance attendant is assigned to each of our sites and is on hand to perform all necessary fixes and service. We believe that providing regular, dedicated service is extremely important.

Finally, our equipment for all sites is brand new, and we provide a variety of different sized “porta-potties” for any kind of event. Our “porta-potties” include everything from typical single units to deluxe bathroom trailers with the latest amenities!

How much territory does Flush cover?

We’re based in North Reading, 20 minutes outside Boston. We cover Massachusetts out to Springfield; we also handle parts of northern and southern New Hampshire. Our drivers take their jobs very seriously. We can pick up and drop off almost anywhere.
