Interior finishing underway at Allston’s new Trader Joe’s supermarket, opening by end of year at Continuum

Interior finishing work at the upcoming 13,000-square-foot Trader Joe’s supermarket at the recently completed $150 million, 350,000-square-foot Continuum mixed-use building in Allston, located steps from Harvard Business School, is well underway. Painting of surfaces including the retail space’s exposed ceiling, utilities and structural poles is now underway, and the space will soon be equipped with shelving, kiosks and other essential supermarket items. Trader Joe’s is expected to open at Continuum by the end of this year, joining upcoming retail options including Jewish deli concept Our Father’s Deli as well as a coffee shop and fitness retailer yet to be named. Just 3,787 square feet of retail space remain for lease at Continuum; the remaining space comes equipped with a full liquor license at no further cost to the tenant.
