Kimco Realty Aims To Redevelop Brighton Property
Kimco Realty has filed a Letter of Intent to redevelop their property known as Washington Street Plaza in Brighton.
According to the letter, "The approximately 2.3-acre site is bounded by Corey Road, Washington Street, Allston
Street and residential properties, and is currently operated as a Whole Foods and Citizens Bank with surface parking.
The proposed redevelopment program involves the relocation of the
Whole Foods and Citizens Bank on site (comprising approximately 49,346 square-feet of
commercial space), and the addition of approximately 270 multifamily dwelling units, with
structured accessory parking.
The Project will comply with Inclusionary Development Policy requirements in support of affordable housing for Boston."
