Residential developer New Boston Ventures, proponent of the conversion of the former Holy Trinity German Catholic Church and rectory in the South End into The Lucas condos, has acquired 25-29 Isabella Street in Bay Village, the former Our Lady of Victories Church and rectory, for $11.4 million from Marist Fathers of Boston. Hingham Institution for Savings provided $15,562,500 of financing towards New Boston Ventures’ acquisition of the five-story, 23,136-square-foot building. The church originally opened in 1883, the year the building was built, and closed in 2016. New Boston Ventures will convert the building into The Marc, a new condominium development.
