Northeastern cuts ribbon on state-of-the-art science and engineering building
Northeastern University held an official ribbon cutting Monday (April 3rd, 2017) on its' newly opened $225 million state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC). The ceremony was attended by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey and United States Representative Joseph Kennedy III. The ISEC opened its' doors to students at the beginning of the Winter academic semester and features 234,000 square feet of new collaborative academic space. The building is enclosed by a distinctive, energy-efficient sun screen that regulates sunlight entering the building. The following are photographs of the Northeastern ISEC:
