Vertical steel construction underway at 19-story Akamai global headquarters in Kendall Square
The steel superstructure of 145 Broadway, an upcoming 19-story tower in Kendall Square that will become the new headquarters of Akamai Technologies, has reached the building’s fifth floor and counting. Following completion of steel construction, a high-performance glass facade will be installed along 145 Broadway’s facade. The 453,768-square-foot tower will be fully leased by Akamai, and is expected to open by the end of 2019. The following are photographs of 145 Broadway:
