Work Begins at Springfield Housing Center
Workers have begun to prep the former Peter Pan Bus Springfield Terminal for demolition after Way Finders decided not to renovate the building and instead will demolish the 26,300-square-foot building that opened April 1, 1969.
A new $9 million headquarters for Way Finders will be erected at the site however, asbestos and other hazards will need to be removed before any demolition work can begin.
