About 1500 Hancock Street
Proposed seven-story, 171-room hotel that would be located in the heart of Quincy Center a short walk to the MBTA Red Line. Retail space would be located on the hotel’s ground floor. Per a proposed agreement with the City of Quincy, the development team would have the option to construct residential apartments at 1500 Hancock Street instead of a hotel. The 153,000 square foot hotel would be connected to a public atrium linked to a new 650 to 700-space parking garage that will be built by the City of Quincy. The hotel would replace an existing vacant retail strip and would also be constructed on part of an adjacent public parking lot under a land swap agreement with the City of Quincy.
