Proposed eight-story boutique hotel featuring up to 159 rooms and approximately 15,000 to 20,000 gross square feet of neighborhood-serving and hospitality amenities. The hotel would comprise 87,000 square feet, with a main six-story section containing ground-floor lobby and retail space and five levels of hotel rooms underneath an outdoor amenity deck and two set-back stories containing amenity and event space. On the hotel's upper floors would be a fitness center, a publicly accessible restaurant/lounge connected to an outdoor rooftop deck with a swimming pool and a top-floor event space.
Covered at-grade valet parking would be provided on site for 60 vehicles. Construction of the hotel is anticipated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2018, with completion anticipated in the third quarter of 2020. The following are renderings of the hotel:
Developer Evergreen Property Group received approval in 2015 to construct an $11.5 million six-story building at 248 Dorchester Avenue designed by Utile Design featuring 33 residences, including four affordable units, with 4,440 square feet of ground-floor retail and 33 on-site parking spaces.
