About 270 Baker Street
The project was originally approved to include 60 condominium residences across three new buildings. Two buildings will contain one-, two- and three-bedroom multifamily residences, and one building will contain duplex townhouse residences. Eight residences at 270 Baker Street will be designated affordable. A common courtyard will be located at the residences' center.
An existing three-story, 30,000-square-foot commercial office building will be retained on site. A total of 105 parking spaces will be provided on-site, both at-grade and underneath the residential buildings. 270 Baker Street is located a short drive from Interstate 95/128 and VFW Parkway, and a short walk to the West Roxbury MBTA Commuter Rail station.
In August 2019 a NPC was filed to request an adjustment from homeownership to rental units. The change also calls shift 15, two-bedroom units to 1 bedrooms and deepend the affordability of the projects.
