About 355 Congress Street
Boston Property Ventures (BPV) acquired the upper two levels and the air rights above 355-359 Congress Street, Boston, MA (the “Property”), in August of 2017. Located in Boston’s Seaport District, the city’s most dynamic development hub, the Property provided BPV with an exceptionally rare opportunity to convert one of the district's oldest, most traditional buildings into a modern high-end residential living space.
With the purchase of the upper level (5th floor), BPV also acquired a permit to build an additional level for residential use (6th floor) with a roof deck on top. This provides BPV with an opportunity to create two luxury duplex units on the 5th & 6th floors along with additional high-end condominium units on the remaining 5th-floor space. On the existing 4th floor, BPV is seeking to convert the building's use from office to residential. Upon receiving the required permissions, BPV will convert the entire 4th floor into luxury condominium units.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2018 and units will be available for purchase pre-completion in Summer/Fall 2018; a total of eight units will be built. BPV anticipates completing the project in the Winter of 2019.
The Ground floor of the property is owned and operated by the Lyons Group and is currently home to Lucky's Lounge.
