About 444-464 Huntington Avenue

Fenway, Boston, MA

25,107 square foot (0.58-acre) development site owned by Northeastern University. The site is currently home to a single-story retail building containing the University House of Pizza and Punter's Pub restaurants, the four-story 1920s Burnstein Hall dormitory and the five-story 1920s Rubenstein Hall dormitory.

Northeastern plans to redevelop the site and has considered replacing the Burnstein and Rubenstein buildings with an 18-story, 377-bed dormitory tower with academic space and ground-floor commercial uses in its' long term master plan. Plans for the site are in the preliminary stage; a proposal for the tower has not been filed with officials. Northeastern's December 2016 acquisition of the adjacent single-story retail building presents new opportunities to redevelop the site with greater density.
