The building will include a mix of 1,2, and 3 bedroom units along with an 11,000 square foot ground floor retail space. The retail space will feature a neighborhood market managed by Asian food market company H Mart. The transit-oriented site near the redline will feature just 23 parking spaces.

Framing and exterior work continues on the upcoming 6-story building located at 10 Essex Street in Central Square, Cambridge. The building is set to include 46 apartments, 5 of which will be designated affordable. Resident amenities will include a rooftop deck and underground parking. The ground floor will feature an 11,000 sf neighborhood market.
Construction is now underway on the mixed-use project. The 5-story building, located in Central Square will provide 46 apartments offering studio and 1-3 bedroom living. The building is a wood-frame structure over a steel podium slab on deck. Completion of the building is slated for January 2019.
Former Downtown Crossing department store transformed into 27 luxury apartments

10 Essex Street, a 114,000 square foot mixed-use development in the heart of Cambridge's Central Square, has secured $19 million in construction financing and is proceeding with buildout. Site work in preparation for construction of the 10 Essex Street building's foundation is now underway. Construction financing for 10 Essex Street was arranged by NAI Hunneman.
