One of America’s most highly respected congregations, Wilshire Boulevard Temple has been serving the Los Angeles Jewish community since its founding in 1862 as Congregation B’nai B'rith, the city’s first synagogue. Today, Wilshire Boulevard Temple carries out the mission through a variety of ways, as a center for Jewish spirituality and celebration, a place for lifelong learning and friendship and home to an engaged congregation where every person can make a difference. Wilshire Boulevard Temple is a Reform congregation that values both tradition and innovation as it moves members to a deeper love of Torah, God, Israel and Tikkun Olam (social action). Whether at our landmark Temple Campus, the Audrey and Sydney Irmas Campus in West Los Angeles or at our Camps and Conference Center in Malibu, you will find a warm, embracing and inclusive congregation. We encourage you to explore all we have to offer—cultural, educational, interfaith and social action programs; meaningful lifecycle events and worship services, and an engaged and inspiring clergy. We provide each of our members numerous ways to find connections to a vibrant Jewish community.
