Established by brothers Allen and Donald Mullaney in 1986, the company has grown from the original two founders up to its present size, employing 100 tradesmen and professionals in the electrical contracting business.

Aldon now has an agreement with Local 103 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as well as being a signatory to Local 223, and is looking forward to long lasting business relationships along with the utilization of highly skilled electrical tradesmen. Expanding into the design/build side of the business, Aldon has proven to be exceptionally capable and is now involved in network cabling to facilitate Information Systems connectivity.

Site Work Back Underway for 7Ink Excavation and pile driving have resumed for 7Ink in the South End. The upcoming 14 story building will feature 180 units of co-living each furnished and complete with Wi-Fi, cable, and weekly cleaning. The co-living model also includes a regular calendar of curated social activities and large amenity areas for co-working and socializing including a rooftop deck overlooking Boston. National Development tells BLDUP they now expect to open 7Ink in Q1 of 2022 as they work to advance the schedule as best they can over the next many months.

$5M Plumbing Permit Pulled for South End Co-Living Project EM Duggan has pulled a permit valued at $5M for the plumbing work at 7INK in the South End. Boston's first co-living project will feature 180 units complete with complimentary hotel-style conveniences like high-speed Wi-Fi, premium cable TV, & weekly housekeeping. Amenity spaces offered will include a gaming room, common lounge, and co-working area. Construction is expected to last through the fourth quarter of 2021.

7INK Financed for $53.25 Million via Citizens Bank 7INK has received $53.25 million in construction financing via Citizens Bank. The approved project calls for a 14-story residential building containing 180 shared suites and micro-studios. Developed by National Development, 7INK will be Boston’s first major co-living development, emphasizing communal living. The building will provide a full range of services, unique community engagements and extraordinary shared amenity spaces.

The site is the future home of 7INK, Boston's first major co-living project that will offer units ranging in size from studios through 4 bedrooms. Longwood Residences II Financed for $51.94 Million The Longwood II Residences project in Mission Hill has been financed via Walker and Dunlop for $51,940,400. The project was approved in November of 2017 and granted a building permit in July 2019. The building is set to include 115 apartments within a 6-story building. Resident amenities will feature a club room, a meeting room, a fitness center, a ground-floor outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck. 130 parking spaces, including 108 below-grade and 22 at-grade, will also be provided on-site for residents of both Longwood II Residences and The Longwood, an adjacent 14-story, 147-unit apartment building also owned by the proponent.
