Site Work Back Underway for 7Ink Excavation and pile driving have resumed for 7Ink in the South End. The upcoming 14 story building will feature 180 units of co-living each furnished and complete with Wi-Fi, cable, and weekly cleaning. The co-living model also includes a regular calendar of curated social activities and large amenity areas for co-working and socializing including a rooftop deck overlooking Boston. National Development tells BLDUP they now expect to open 7Ink in Q1 of 2022 as they work to advance the schedule as best they can over the next many months. 

$5M Plumbing Permit Pulled for South End Co-Living Project EM Duggan has pulled a permit valued at $5M for the plumbing work at 7INK in the South End. Boston's first co-living project will feature 180 units complete with complimentary hotel-style conveniences like high-speed Wi-Fi, premium cable TV, & weekly housekeeping. Amenity spaces offered will include a gaming room, common lounge, and co-working area. Construction is expected to last through the fourth quarter of 2021. 

7INK Financed for $53.25 Million via Citizens Bank 7INK has received $53.25 million in construction financing via Citizens Bank. The approved project calls for a 14-story residential building containing 180 shared suites and micro-studios. Developed by National Development, 7INK will be Boston’s first major co-living development, emphasizing communal living. The building will provide a full range of services, unique community engagements and extraordinary shared amenity spaces.

$5.35M Electrical Permit Pulled for 7Ink An electrical permit valued at $5.35M has been pulled by Aldon Electric for 7Ink by Ollie in the South End. The upcoming 14-story building will feature 180 co-living units plus a variety of shared amenity spaces. 

Electrical Permit Pulled for Longwood Residences II Electrical and fire alarm permits valued at $3.4M combined have been pulled for the upcoming 6-story Longwood Residences II by Aldon Electric. The upcoming 6-story building will feature 115 apartments along with parking for 130 cars. 

Site Work Underway for Longwood II Residences Site work is now underway for the upcoming 6-story apartment building at 95 St. Alphonsus  Street in Mission Hill. The Longwood II Residences will feature 115 apartments, 15 of which will be designated affordable. Resident amenities will include a club room, a meeting room, a fitness center, a ground-floor outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck.

Building Permit Issued for 7INK With the site clear, a building permit valued at $52M has been issued for 217 Albany Street, the 7INK project. The upcoming 14-story building, the final piece of the INK Block, will feature 180 units of co-living. The building will also provide a full range of services, unique community engagements and extraordinary shared amenity spaces.

Site Clear for 7Ink in the South End Demo has wrapped up and the site is now clear for 7Ink. Located along Albany Street in the South End, 7Ink will offer 180 co-living units, all fully furnished and complete with cleaning service and other hotel-style amenities. The building will also provide a full suite of amenities plus unique opportunities for community engagement.

Demo Underway at 7INK Site Demo of the existing 2 story structure that sat on the final Ink Block development site has kicked off. The site is the future home of 7INK, Boston's first major co-living project that will offer units ranging in size from studios through 4 bedrooms. The upcoming 14-story tower will feature 180 units along with ample community space offering an array of social programming and services.  Construction is expected to last around 20 months and be completed in 2021.

The Mission Hill building will feature 115 new apartments along with parking for 130 cars.  Resident amenities would include a club room, a meeting room, a fitness center, a ground-floor outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck.

Longwood Residences II Financed for $51.94 Million The Longwood II Residences project in Mission Hill has been financed via Walker and Dunlop for $51,940,400. The project was approved in November of 2017 and granted a building permit in July 2019. The building is set to include 115 apartments within a 6-story building. Resident amenities will feature a club room, a meeting room, a fitness center, a ground-floor outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck. 130 parking spaces, including 108 below-grade and 22 at-grade, will also be provided on-site for residents of both Longwood II Residences and The Longwood, an adjacent 14-story, 147-unit apartment building also owned by the proponent.
