    $4.7M Building Permit Pulled for East Boston Condo Project    A building permit valued at $4.7M has been pulled for the upcoming condo project at 425 Border Street. The project, being developed by Navem Partners, will offer 16 modern condo residences in the desirable Eagle Hill section of East Boston. The new building will also include garage parking for 16 vehicles. Construction is expected to last into spring 2021.

    Mixed-Use Project Proposed on East Broadway in South Boston Cedarwood Development has proposed a new five-story mixed-use building to contain 14 condos along with and approximately 3,182 square feet of ground-floor commercial space at 555 East Broadway. The building would feature 2 three-bedroom penthouses along with 12 two-bedroom, two-bath units plus 14 garage parking spaces.

    Demo Permit Application Filed for South Boston Mixed-Use Project Site A demo permit application has been filed to remove the existing 1 story commercial structure at 218-220 Old Colony Avenue in South Boston. A mixed-use project for this location was approved by the BPDA in March. The new building would include  32-unit residential units, 1,700 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a 33 space parking garage.

    Facade Install Underway for South End Luxury Condo Project Facade install is now underway for The Ceinture in South Boston. The project will offer 54 luxury condos, 70% of them already pre-sold. The building will feature over 4,000 square feet of amenity space including an expansive roof deck, a "sky" clubroom with catering kitchen, fitness center, a first-floor community "work café", and a furnished lobby with a part-time concierge.

    South Boston Development Site Acquired for $3.6M The property at 603 Dorchester Avenue in Andrew Square has been acquired for $3.6M.A 6-story mixed-use building was approved for the site in June 2018. The project would include 24 apartments along with just over 2,000 square feet of commercial space. Tom Meade of Touchstone Capital Partners tells BLDUP "We’re excited to expand Touchstone’s footprint into Southie as a project sponsor.  We’ve been a lender in the market for years and look forward to our first mid-sized development here in the heart of Andrew Square."

    Core in Place for South Shore Condo Project The concrete core is in place for the upcoming multifamily project at 484 Quincy Ave. A building permit valued at $2.68M was also pulled earlier this month for the project. The building will include 14, two-bedroom condos along with parking for 35 vehicles.

    Mission Hill Mixed-Use Project Sells for $23M Tremont 1457 in Mission Hill has been acquired by The Constellation Group, a Brooklyn developer/owner, for $23,569,000. The new five-story mixed-use building features 40 apartments plus 7,200 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The modern studio & 1 bedroom units feature high-end finishes and many include private outdoor space.

    - Jun 28, 2020

    Brighton Development Site Acquired for $3.5M, Financed for $7.275M Glenshare Properties has acquired 421-425 Market Street in Brighton for $3.5M with financing fo $7,275,000 coming through Dedham Savings Bank. Redevelopment of the existing commercial structure is currently under review. Plans call for a four-story addition that would include new commercial space and 23 residential units.

The luxury condo project will include 54 homes just steps from the Broadway MBTA Station. Amenities within the project will include concierge service, a state-of-the-art gym, a club room, communal workspace, and a common roof deck with gas grills overlooking the Boston skyline. The project is already around 50% sold.
