Nearly 70 years ago, Thomas O. and Gladys C. Bradbury sold their dairy operation (what is now Oxford and Santa Fe) and began increasing dryland wheat farming acreage. Their children, Thomas H. Bradbury and Toby L. Pippin, contributed land and the Bradbury Family Partnership was formally established in 1981. Today, the Partnership represents 4 generations, and includes over 20 family members.
More recently, the family has transitioned some of its agricultural holdings into some of Douglas County’s better-known developments including Meridian and Lincoln Station and HighField Business Park. Bradbury Companies developed land sites under such corporate campuses as CH2M Hill, and First data, and Kaiser Permanente which is adjacent to Lincoln Station. Bradbury also provided the land to build nearly 1,600 single family homes in the residential communities of Bradbury Ranch, Heritage Hills, and Meridian Village.
