Radius Apartments Refinanced for $42 Million The Radius Apartments have been refinanced via Peoples United Bank for $42 million. The Radius Apartments are a new mixed-use development that opened in Spring 2019 featuring 132 apartment residences and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Residences at Radius includes 53 studios, 43 1-bedrooms, 16 1-bedroom + dens, and 20 2-bedrooms. Resident amenities include a rooftop common room, fitness center, and an outdoor deck.

Roxbury Development Secures $11.4 Million in Financing The development at 10 Taber Street in Roxbury has secured $11.4 million in construction financing via Hingham Institution for Savings. The approved mixed-use project consists of forty-five apartments and a retail space comprising approximately 46,239 gross square feet total floor area. The apartment unit mix consists of thirty-five One-Bedroom apartments and ten Two-Bedroom apartments. There will be a ten (10) space ground floor garage. There will be 13% Affordable Housing use for this project. The proposed project will abut an existing three-story office and commercial building.

Building Permit Pulled for 10 Taber St. Mixed-Use Project A building permit valued at $8M has been pulled by GES Development for the upcoming 10 Taber Street project in Roxbury. The 6-story building will feature parking and retail space on the ground floor with 45 apartments on the upper levels. Units will be a mix of 35, one-bedrooms and 10 two-bedrooms.

Hyde Park Site Preps for Demo: Permit Pulled to Shut Off Gas Service to 11 Dana Ave. A permit has been pulled to cut off the gas to the existing building at 11 Dana Ave. in Hyde Park to prep for demo. The upcoming demo will make way for a new construction mixed-use building that was approved in March. The new project will include 24 residential units (all 2 bedrooms) along with 300 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  The site is located just steps from the Hyde Park Commuter Rail Station.

Work Continues on Building Envelope for 1st Building at The Q at Quarry Hills  Work is ongoing for the building envelope at the first of two building at The Q at Quarry Hills. The new apartment complex will feature 269 apartments in total, a mix of studio, 1, and 2 bedrooms. Resident amenities are set to include two courtyards, a fitness center, and business center. The buildings also have underground parking to accommodate up to 224 cars with additional surface parking also available. Construction on the first building is expected to be complete sometime this fall.

Units feature stainless appliances, quartz countertops, walk-in closets, and smartphone-enabled keyless entry. Prices range from $2455 for studios to 2 bedroom/2baths at just under $4000 per month.

Framing in Place for the 1st Building at The Q at Quarry Hills Framing is in place with sheathing going up for the first of two buildings at The Q at Quarry Hills. The Quincy development is set to include 269 apartments between 2 5-story buildings. Community amenities will include a resident’s lounge and club room, outdoor landscaped courtyards with water features and seating areas, a fire pit, and an outdoor kitchen, plus a fitness center. First units are expected to be ready for occupancy in late 2019.

The Residences at Hyde Park Station Approved The development at 11 Dana Street in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood have been approved. The approved project consists of the re-development of a 14,322 square-foot lot at 11 Dana Avenue in Hyde Park. This construction of a new 4-story building with roof decks will include 24 2-bedroom residential units (8 units on each of the 3 upper floors) with a residential entry lobby, service spaces, and a 300 square foot commercial office space on the ground level. Parking is provided partially below grade and accessed via a ramp from Dana Avenue. 24 parking spaces are provided (one per residential unit) with half of the total number of spaces stacked using a mechanical stacking system. Additionally, 39 bicycle parking spaces are provided in the basement (accessible by elevator).
