Facade restoration compete, interior finishing underway at 201 West Brookline Street condos in South End Restoration of the detailed brick and slate facade of the former Concord Baptist Church at 201 West Brookline Street in the South End is complete, and interior spaces are being finished as part of the building's conversion into nine luxurious condominium residences. Condominiums will feature beautifully preserved details, including arched windows and high ceilings, with abundant natural lighting. Sales of 201 West Brookline Street condominiums will begin in the coming months. The building is located in the heart of the South End steps to shops and restaurants on Tremont Street and Columbus Avenue, as well as the Back Bay and Downtown Boston. Located in West Roxbury, the $20 million project will construct 18 new Net-Zero Plus energy-efficient condominiums in West Roxbury.

Minor changes proposed for Allandale Residences in West Roxbury Developer Wonder Group has submitted a Notice of Project Change (NPC) to the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) proposing minor changes to the approved Allandale Residences project in West Roxbury, which will create Boston’s first Net Zero energy-efficient neighborhood; the following is a link to the NPC. The project’s site plan layout has been modified based upon community input and further review of the project site. The revised layout ensures that new buildings are constructed outside of all surrounding wetland buffer zones. Accordingly, 18 total residential units are proposed, down from previously approved 22. 14 new townhouses would be constructed, and 4 units would be constructed in the existing house. One on-site unit would be deed-restricted as affordable housing. A $50,000 contribution would still be made to the City of Boston in order to support the surrounding Allandale Woods conservation area.

Waltham Landing, newly opened 34-unit apartment complex in Downtown Waltham, sells for $17.5 millionOn Thursday (August 4th, 2016), developer Charles River Place LLC sold the newly opened 34-unit Waltham Landing apartment complex, located in Downtown Waltham, to local restaurateur and real estate investor Dennis A. Dyer of Watertown, MA for $17.5 million as recorded in the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds. Dyer secured a $13.125 mortgage for Waltham Landing on Thursday through East Boston Savings Bank.Charles River Place LLC acquired the Waltham Landing site in October 2014 for $2.308 million and secured a total of $10.1 million in financing including an initial mortgage of $1.5 million in October 2014 through Somerset Ventures LLC and a second mortgage in December 2014 through East Boston Savings Bank for $8.6 million. Waltham Landing broke ground in December 2014 and opened in January 2016. The building contains approximately 41,460 rentable square feet (RSF) including 33,200 RSF of residential space and 8,260 RSF of ground-floor retail. The following is the deed for the sale of Waltham Landing to Dennis A. Energy-efficient West Roxbury residential development approved for construction   The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved the Allandale Residences for construction at this month’s board meeting. Located in West Roxbury, Allandale Residences will contain 16 Net-Zero Contemporary Townhouses and four multi-family units. Construction of Allandale Residences is anticipated to start this month.
