Framing Has Kicked Off for the 44-Story Garden Garage Tower Framing is now underway for the upcoming 44-story Garden Garage Tower in the West End/Bulfinch Triangle. The new building will include 469 apartments, 20,000 square feet of resident amenity space,  2,300 square feet of ground-floor retail, plus underground parking for 830 cars. The site design of the project will also improve the pedestrian experience between the West End and North Station.  Construction is expected to be complete in late 2021.

Core Rising for Garden Garage The concrete core is beginning to climb for the Garden Garage project located at 33 Lomansey Way in Boston's Bulfinch Triangle. The upcoming 44-story mixed-use tower will feature 469 apartment units with an array of amenities, retail space on the ground floor, and 830 parking spaces. The project is slated to open late 2021.

Foundation In Place and Work Begins on the Core for Garden Garage Tower The foundation for the 44 story Garden Garage Tower is in place and work has also started on the core of the building. The West End Tower will feature 469 apartments along with 20,000 square feet of amenity space, and 2,300 square feet of ground-floor retail. The new parking garage under the tower will hold around 830 spaces. Construction is expected to be complete in late 2021.

Construction Wrapping Up at 249 Third: Expected Opening Later This Month Construction is nearly complete for the 84 unit residential project at 249 Third Street in Kendall Square. The new building includes a mix of studios through three-bedrooms ranging in price from $3120 through $6325 per month. Resident amenities will include a private roof deck and landscaped courtyard. First units are expected to be available around September 15th.

Tower Crane in Place for Garden Garage A tower crane is now in place at the Garden Garage site as blasting continues for ledge removal and concrete footings are being put in place. The Equity Residential project is set to feature 469 residential units in the 44 story tower. Under the tower will be a new parking garage to hold around 830 spaces. Construction is set to run through late 2021.

Facade Install Nearly Complete for 249 Third St. in Kendall Square Facade install is nearly complete for the new 5-story apartment building at 249 Third Street in Kendall Square. The project will include 84 apartments and 1,540 square feet of ground-floor retail. Apartments will range from studios to three-bedrooms including 28 studios, 46 one bedrooms, 8 two-bedrooms, and 2 three-bedrooms. Resident amenities will include a private roof deck and landscaped courtyard. Construction is expected to be complete later this summer.

Crews Prep Garden Garage Site for Ledge Removal Crews continue work on the install of temporary bracing and soil removal at the site of the former Garden Garage. Ledge removal is expected to start within the coming days. The upcoming 44-story tower is set to include 469 apartments along with 2,300 square feet of ground-floor retail The development will also include around 20,000 square feet of common resident amenities and an underground parking garage to hold 830 cars. Construction is expected to wrap up in the 4th quarter of 2021.

Work Underway for Slurry Wall at Garden Garage With the remnants of the old garage out of the way, work is underway to install the 53-panel slurry wall for the upcoming 44-story tower on the site.  The new building is set to house 469 apartments along with 20,000 square feet of resident amenities and 2,300 square feet of ground-floor retail. The project will also include a new underground garage with over 800 spaces an increase from the previous garage's capacity. Construction is set to be complete in 2021.

Framing Reaches Full Height at 249 Third Street Framing has reached full height for this new five-story mixed-use project Callahan Construction Managers is building in Kendall Square. 249 Third Street will feature 84 residential units along with just over 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. Residents will have access to a fitness center, clubroom, private roof deck, and a landscaped courtyard.  Callahan is on track to complete the 91,682 square foot project in late August 2019.

Equity Residential Acquires Troy Boston for $216.125 Million Equity Residential has acquired Troy Boston from Oregon-based Gerding Edlen for $216.125 million. The property features 378 apartments with ground-floor retail space in Boston's South End. Troy Boston consists of two buildings—an 11-story mid-rise and a 19-story tower. Apartments range from studio to two-bedroom configurations. Amenities include a rooftop lounge, an outdoor swimming pool, a yoga, and fitness studio and an outdoor dog run area.
