The Hill

The Hill to Bring 598 Housing Units The city of Quincy's Planning Board will hold a special hearing regarding FoxRock Properties plans to turn the former Quincy Medical Center into 598 housing units dubbed as “The Hill.” The special hearing on the development will take place at 7PM on Wednesday (10/24) Historic City Hall. FoxRock's plans include restoration of the Quincy Hospital Administration Building and repurpose it as a mixed-use building during and after the construction of the development.  According to the developer's plans, 9.5-acres of the land would remain as green space including an “enhanced” Glendale Park. According to FoxRock, if the project is approved, construction would begin in 2019 and occur in multiple phases.


Braxton Street Industrial Park

Braintree Property Acquired for $18.17 Million FoxRock Properties has acquired multiple parcels of land in Braintree on Braxton Street for $18.17 million. The parcels include 1505 Braxton Street, an office building located in Braintree, MA. Built in 1966, the property features a 21,000 square foot building situated on a 2.14-acre lot. 1515 Braxton Street, a single story manufacturing facility that was built in 1968 and features a 272,764 square foot building on a 14-acre lot. 1525 Braxton Street is a light industrial (10% improved office space; machine shop) that was built in 1985 and features 87,876 square-feet of space on a 10.14-acre lot. The property also features a 5-acre undeveloped parcel of land located behind 50 Washington Street. 


14-40 Beach Street

FoxRock acquires Chinatown parking garage for $33.5 millionFoxRock Properties of Quincy has acquired the 8-story, 513-space parking garage at 14-40 Beach Street in Chinatown for $33.5 million from seller Charles River Realty Investors of Newton. Charles River acquired the garage in March 2011 for $9.4 million; the garage previously sold in June 2007 for $17.9 million. Principal Life Insurance Company provided FoxRock with $20 million of financing for its' acquisition of 14-40 Beach Street.
