The upcoming multi-family residential development will feature 230 apartment residences across two new-construction buildings ranging from three to five stories in height. Both buildings will be connected with a central resident amenity section. A total of 169 vehicle garage parking spaces, 270 covered bicycle storage spaces, and 15 exterior bicycle parking spaces would be provided on-site.

Permit Pulled to Begin Site Mobilization for 230 Unit Multi-Family Project in East Boston Dellbrook has pulled a permit to being site work mobilization in anticipation of the imminent start of construction for the 144 Addison Street project. The East Boston project will feature a total of 230 rental units between two buildings. The development will also include parking for 169 vehicles and over 80,000 square feet of open space.

Full Project Filing Submitted for Redevelopment of Clarendon Hill in Somerville Redgate & Preservations of Affordable Housing Inc, have filed a full project submission for the redevelopment of the Clarendon Hill housing development in Somerville. The proposed project consists of the construction of up to 591 rental dwelling units, of which 375 will be affordable to households earning between 60%-110% of the AMI. The project would be constructed in phases to allow for the relocation of existing residents. Plans also call for 369 on-site parking spaces and a new community park.

The waterfront property features 305 apartments plus ground floor restaurant retail space including the home of Dryft. The 140 seat restaurant will feature a premium raw bar and classic New England seafood selections. Italian-influenced pasta dishes will also compliment the seafood theme. An additional 100 seats are planned for a large outdoor bar area to be added in 2020.

Clarendon Hill Redevelopment to go Before the Somerville Planning Board Next Month  Plans for the redevelopment of the Clarendon Hill Public Housing development will have it's first hearing before the Somerville Zoning Board next month on 12/11/19. The project will transform the obsolete Clarendon Hill development, building in the 1940's into a vibrant mixed-income community. Plans call for a higher density community that gradually transitions from the scale of the surrounding Somerville residential neighborhood into the site. Up to five hundred and ninety-one (591) housing units will replace the existing 216 units, in a range of housing types comprised of 4 highrise buildings and 34 townhouses, envisioned to engage a new public realm. At the heart of the new community, new parks will be programmed for active and passive recreation to invite all residents.

The six-story building opened in January 2019 and features 195 luxury apartment residences located on 6.2 acres steps from Revere Beach and the MBTA Blue Line. Residences at One Beachmont include studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms, ranging in size from 482 to 1,121 square feet.
