Cronin Development Launches Sales of The St. Regis Residences, Boston
Cronin Development has launched sales of The St. Regis Residences, Boston, with the opening of a “high-touch/high-tech” waterfront sales center at 250 Northern Avenue. The custom-built waterfront space- called the “Experience Center for The St. Regis Residences, Boston,” - offers visitors a high-tech experience, luxury service, and panoramic Boston Harbor views that mimic what buyers will experience inside the tower’s 114 condominiums.
The St. Regis Residences, Boston, which is under construction at 150 Seaport Blvd., is expected to open in early 2021 – which will make it the last residential waterfront development to open in the Seaport neighborhood.
Visitors to the center will be immersed in the history and rituals of the St. Regis brand. They can also see an overview of the Seaport – Boston’s hottest neighborhood, filled with luxury shopping, retail, essential services, public parks, and entertainment venues.
The Center features a built-to-scale model kitchen and bath that allows buyers to preview the highly curated finishes chosen for quality, style, and performance. Buyers can also review a variety of finish options and interior design in the building’s Design Center. BAMO of San Francisco created the residence interiors, the lobby’s modern vision and the look and feel of the amenity floor.
“In the Experience Center, future residents will touch, feel and see the high-level of quality and design we are planning for The St. Regis Residences, Boston – which will be a landmark development,” said Cronin Development Founder Jon Cronin. “When it opens, it will be one of the first stand-alone St. Regis Residences in the world and will mark the debut of the brand in Boston.”
Rising directly on Boston’s waterfront, this residential-only tower features an iconic design from Elkus Manfredi Architects that mimics the curvilinear shape of a tall ship at sail. The tower’s 114 condominium homes will range from one-bedroom to penthouse residences, each with extraordinary views. Residents will have access to owner benefits, as well as the St. Regis brand’s legendary services, including bespoke and anticipatory butler and concierge assistance, and exclusive use of the tower’s entire floor of amenities including swimming pool and outdoor patio, spa, exercise room, library, sports simulator, St. Regis lounge, wine vault, media room and guest suites. The signature restaurant will provide in-residence private dining and preferred reservations as well as cater to residents, guests and neighbors.

Cronin Development Brings BAMO on Board to Design Interiors for the St. Regis Residences, Boston
Cronin Development has hired BAMO of San Francisco to design interiors for The St. Regis Residences, Boston. The team, led by principal Billy Quimby, is developing the design for the kitchens, bathrooms, and finishes and fixtures throughout the individual units, as well as creating the full interior vision for the lobby and amenity spaces.
Located at 150 Seaport Boulevard, the residence-only tower will be BAMO’s first ground-up development in the Boston area. Initial designs of the interior spaces show reflections of Boston’s history, culture and maritime heritage with a sail-inspired carved feature wall, nautical reception desk, and the use of hand-forged bronze, barnacle textures, and a palette colored by the tones at water’s edge.
Well-known for both hospitality and residential designs, BAMO is an ideal partner for The Residences. The firm’s residential experience positions it well for interpreting the St. Regis brand for the Boston luxury condominium market.
”In the spirit of the building’s iconic design, the interiors take inspiration from maritime, complementing the forward-thinking vision of Elkus Manfredi Architects and owner Jon Cronin,” said BAMO Principal, Billy Quimby. “Throughout the residential lobby and amenity spaces, subtle nautical nods and material elements connect the interiors to Boston and the Seaport district, with a level of detail and sophistication for which the St. Regis Brand has come to be known.”
In addition to the maritime influence, BAMO is taking inspiration from a number of local references. The influence of Boston Common’s lush greenery and dappled light reveals itself in the tranquil spa, while materiality in the amenity lounge references the Seaport district during the industrial revolution with detailed stitching, bronze fluting, and decorative blown glass lighting. Drawing on the yachting lifestyle, The St. Regis Residences, Boston inspire an air of East Coast luxury, offering a unique sense of privacy and exclusivity, while locating owners at the heart of Boston’s most dynamic neighborhood. The interiors will reflect all of these qualities, as well as the exquisite living experience that the St. Regis brand delivers.
“BAMO’s creative spirit and exceptional design talent makes them a terrific partner for us at The St. Regis Residences, Boston,” said Cronin Development CEO Jon Cronin. “With their international hospitality experience, we’re confident their work for us will deliver the most beautiful, luxury experience for our residents.”
