    Leasing Underway for Ora Seaport With crews back on site to complete interior finish work, leasing is also underway for Ora Seaport as part of the Parcel K mixed-use development. Apartments within the 304 unit building range in size from 434 square foot studios through nearly 1150 square foot 3 bedrooms. Prices are currently listed at $2610-$9355 per month. Amenities at Ora include a 12th floor Skydeck, fitness center, and rooftop pool.

    Corderman & Company Completes Engie's New Boston Offices at 9 Channel Center Construction is now complete on ENGIE’s new expanded Boston office at 9 Channel Center Street in Boston. ENGIE has moved into 21,000 square feet of first class office space on two floors of the modern mixed-use building in the city’s historic and vibrant Channel Center neighborhood. Corderman & Company provided construction management services on the project. The $3.2 million construction program, in collaboration with global design firm Gensler’s Houston and Boston offices, is a mix of open workspace, private offices, conference rooms, work lounges, wellness rooms, cafes, huddle areas, a private phone booth, and shower room in an inspiring contemporary environment.  Staying true to the warehouse-industrial architecture at 9 Channel Center, ENGIE’s offices include exposed brick and beam construction throughout. Colorful branded moments, statement lighting, and modern furniture provide a dynamic contrast. Each floor was designed with three zones to accommodate employee collaboration and individual work throughout the day. Pops of color were infused into the cafes and teaming zones. The central teaming area and perimeter individual workstations were designed to facilitate concentration and focus.  “ENGIE’s new Boston office is an agile work environment embracing employee engagement reflecting their forward-thinking,” said Corderman & Company Senior Project Manager Kevin Hegarty. “9 Channel Center is the perfect place for them to grow and thrive.” Owner/developer Berkeley Investments’ 9 Channel Center is part of their far-reaching program to enhance value through adaptive reuse throughout Channel Center. The building has been infused with new technology and a modern design aesthetic while maintaining its brick and beam ambiance. It is positioned at the cross-section of South Boston, Fort Point, and the Seaport District. Other tenants in the building include Corderman & Company, and Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. The office and retail leasing agent is CBRE. The new space for ENGIE is one of numerous customized and creative offices that are either complete or underway by Corderman & Company. This includes offices for: Cybereason, Catalant Technologies, Venture Lane, Neoscape, Placester, Ideo, Enzyvant,, Goulston & Storrs, and Kensington Capital. Corderman’s team on this project was comprised of: Hegarty, Project Manager Jim Tully,  Superintendent Joel Ashton, Laborer Kenneth DeCampo, and Senior Estimator Cadman Corbett.

    Renovation of Lenox Apartments Approved The rehabilitation of the Boston Housing Authority’s Lenox Apartments housing development located at 136 Lenox Street in Lower Roxbury has been approved by the BDPA. The Lenox Apartments features 285 units across twelve (12) three-story walk-up buildings, originally built in 1939. The renovations project will include both interior and exterior renovations to all buildings along with the management office space.

    CO Issued for 839 Beacon A certificate of occupancy has been issued for the mixed-use project at 839 Beacon Street. The building includes 45 modern apartments along with 4,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Communal amenities include a lounge, a meeting room, a fitness center, a dog washing station and a roof terrace featuring a kitchen facility and sweeping Boston skyline views.

    Interior Finishing Underway for Parcel K in the Seaport Interior finishing is underway for both Ora Seaport & the Hyatt Place hotel as part of the Parcel K development in the Seaport. The Hyatt Place hotel will feature 294 rooms plus a rooftop gym, and 4,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Next door Ora Seaport, will feature 304 luxury apartments complete with a rooftop pool, landscaped courtyard, and gym and wellness center. A one-level underground parking garage at the project will have the capacity for approximately 450 cars. Construction is expected to wrap up this spring.

    PNF Filed for Renovations To The Lenox Apartments in Roxbury  Beacon Communities has filed a Project Notification Form for large scale interior and exterior renovations to the Lenox Apartments in Roxbury. The affordable housing development which was originally built in 1939 features 285 units across 12, three-story buildings. The renovation will include restoration and repair to the exterior masonry, windows, and roofs as well as maintenance and improvements to the open space and landscaping on site plus extensive improvements to the interiors of the buildings to improve the quality of life for the residents.e for the residents

    Facade Install Nearly Complete for Hyatt Place on Parcel K Facade install is nearly complete for the 12-story Hyatt Place hotel on Parcel K in the Seaport. The 294 room hotel will include a rooftop gym, a coffee and cocktails bar, and 4,000 square feet of meeting and event space. There will also be 6,800 square feet of restaurant space on the ground floor of the hotel. Construction is expected to be complete in Spring 2020.
