Final Stages of Construction Underway for Chestnut Place: Expected Move in this September
With first move-ins expected this September, final stages of construction are underway for One Chestnut Place in Quincy Center. The tower offers 124 modern apartments along with 4,000 square feet of retail space. Amenities on-site will include a fitness center, concierge service, and a resident lounge.

Core Construction Resumes at New Boston Arts Academy
The concrete core is rising once again and has grown in stature for the upcoming home of the Boston Arts Academy in Fenway. The building will include a variety of instructional and performance spaces including 4 dance studios, an orchestra hall, recording studios, a clothing construction lab, and a photography room with a darkroom. The 153,500 square feet building is expected to open in 2021.

With virtual tours and pre-leasing underway for expected move-in this summer, construction is carefully continuing at Chestnut Place in Quincy Center. The 15 story tower, now Quincy's tallest, will feature 124 modern apartments over around 4,000 square feet of retail space. Residents will have access to garage parking as well as a fitness center and clubroom.

NPC Approved for 55 India
The BPDA has approved the notice of project change submitted in January for 55 India. The change cuts the total number of units from 44 to 29 while maintaining similar building size/height. The third floor of the building would now include 5 affordable live workspaces. On the upper floors plans now call for larger units including 22 two-bedrooms and 2 three-bedroom duplex, penthouse residences. The ground floor will include a restaurant space with large outdoor seating area.

With interior finishing well underway leasing has kicked off for One Chestnut Place in Quincy Center. Quincy's tallest tower will feature 124 luxury apartments just a short walk from the Redline. Rents are ranging from $2100 per month for a 540 square foot one-bedroom through $3625 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath home. Amenities at One Chesnut Place will include community work pods, a fitness center, clubroom and garage parking.

Draper Elevator Interiors completes Uniquely designed Elevator Cabs at the Moxy Hotel
Draper Elevator Interiors collaborated with Group One Partners to design, fabricate and install four highly custom elevator cabs at the Moxy Hotel in Boston's theater district. The hotel boasts a fun industrial-chic decor throughout the building, the elevator cabs are no exception. Custom back-lit blackened stainless steel bumper rails highlight antique mirror glass rear wall panels. Each elevator has its own unique image which can be seen peering through a 3D keyhole slot, creating a "backstage" theme.

Interior Finishing Underway for Chestnut Place in Quincy
Interior finishing is underway at Quincy's tallest tower, Chestnut Place. The Quincy center development will feature 124 luxury apartments over 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Units will range in size from studios through two-bedrooms, with some units featuring 12-foot ceiling heights. A public park will also be located on the project site.

100 Hood Park Drive Taking Shape
The new garage/retail space within the Hood Park Development in Charlestown is taking shape with exterior work nearly complete for the front half of the project. The building will offer parking for over 900 cars plus 50,000 square feet of lab and 24,000 square feet of retail space. The garage will also include a solar array on the rooftop and will be equipped with electric vehicle charging stations in 50 of the parking spaces.

CO Issued for Addition at 50 Staniford St
A certificate of occupancy has been issued for the lobby addition at 50 Staniford Street. The project features renovations to over 34,000 square feet at the existing 10 story medical office building plus a new 19,500 square foot addition. The renovations and addition will revitalize the building and also create a dedicated pickup/drop-off area to accommodate the high volume of patients coming through the building.

Interior Finishing Underway for Home 2 Suites At South Bay
Interior finishing is well underway for the upcoming Home 2 Suites by Hilton at South Bay. Assistant Project Manager with Lee Kennedy Julie Toland, shared a few inside shots with BLDUP showing the project's progress. The hotel, set to open in May, will feature 130 guest rooms plus parking for 77 vehicles.
