    Three Building Mixed-Use Project Under Review in Dorchester Plans are now under review for a three-building mixed-use project on a 59,000 square foot site along Willow, Baker, and Fields Court in Dorchester. The project would include 236 apartments, 70 being compact units, with around 20,000 square feet of commercial space, and 59 parking spaces. Resident amenities for the buildings include a residential lobby and lounge, fitness room, conference rooms, and a work bar with coffee stations, and a rooftop lounge with views to Boston. According to the filing the development team hopes to begin construction in the 2nd quarter of 2021 with construction lasting around 2 years.

    $16.5M Permit Pulled for Renovations at Simmons University A permit valued at $16,494,043.00 has been pulled for renovations to Simmons University Main College Building at 300 Fenway. The project will include interior renovations to offices and academic spaces along with new MEP's and some structural work. The Main College Building was originally built in 1904 with additions in 1909 and 1929 for a total of 155,000 square feet.

    $2M Plumbing Permit Pulled for Phase 2 of Packard Crossing A permit valued at $2M has been pulled for the underground plumbing install for phase 2 of Packard Crossing along Brighton Avenue. The new building will include 76 apartments along with 3,050 square feet of retail space and a 175 space below-grade parking garage.

    Permit Pulled for New W&S Install To Roxbury Mixed-Use Project A permit has been issued for new water & sewer install the upcoming mixed-use project at 10 Taber Street. The Roxbury development will offer 45 apartments along with ground-floor retail space. The new building will abut an existing three-story office and commercial building.

    Life Science Building Approved in Watertown Westbrook Partners has won approval for a new 4-story 213,500 square-foot life science building at 85 Walnut Street in Watertown. The project would also include a parking garage with space for 470+ vehicles along with a new public park.


    Whittier Choice
    - Jul 01, 2020

    $16M Building Permits Pulled for Phase 2 of Whittier Choice Building permits valued at $15.961M have been pulled for Phase 2 of the Whittier Choice redevelopment. Permits call for the construction of two 3-story buildings, one to include 23 residences, the other with 29. The project will feature a total of  387 units, bringing a net increase of approximately 187 residential units to Whittier Choice. 


    Packard Crossing
    - Jun 26, 2020

    Construction Continues on Phase 2 of Packard Crossing Foundation work is now advancing for Phase Two of Packard Crossing in Allston, metal framing is being laid for cement pouring. The two-building project will include a total of 114 apartments along with 3,050 square feet of retail space. Resident amenities will include a landscaped roof deck and a fitness center.

    - Jun 18, 2020

    Newton Zoning Board Approves Mixed-Use 40B Project Criterion Development Partners has won approval from Newton's Zoning Board of Appeals for a comprehensive permit for their 15 Riverdale project. The 40B project would include two buildings featuring a total of 204 apartments, 51 of which would be designated affordable. The development also includes 4,600 square feet of retail and community space. A new pubic courtyard will be located at the heart of the complex, providing a pathway down to the lush landscape along the Charles River.


    BLDG 89
    - May 27, 2020

    $2M Plumbing & Gas Permits Pulled for Allston Mixed-Use Project Permits valued at over $2M have been pulled for the plumbing and gas install for BLDG 89 along Brighton Avenue in Allston. The upcoming mixed-use project will feature 129 apartments and 7,500 square feet of retail space. The development will also include 79 at-grade parking spaces and storage space for 138 bicycles.


    401 Park
    - May 26, 2020

    Demo Progressing at 201 Brookline Ave Demo is progressing at 201 Brookline Avenue in Fenway to make way for a new 14-story office/lab building. The upcoming 500,000 square foot project already has 2 tenants lined up, cancer drug maker Tango Therapeutics and investment firm Third Rock Ventures. Construction is expected to last through 2022.


    401 Park
    - May 14, 2020

    $1.7M Plumbing Permit Pulled for 201 Brookline Ave Cannistraro has pulled a permit valued at $1,723,350.00 for the install of plumbing piping and fittings at 201 Park Drive.  The upcoming 14-story building will feature 506,000 square feet of office and laboratory space along with above ground-floor retail. Construction is expected to last through 2022.


    1500 Main Street
    - May 09, 2020

    Various Stages of Construction Ongoing for 3 Building Mixed-Use Project in Weymouth Facade install is underway for the first building within the 3 building mixed-use project at 1500 Main Street in Weymouth. Framing and window install are ongoing for the second building within the project and the concrete core is in place for the third. In total the development will include 237 apartments, a mix of studios through 3-bedrooms, plus 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The development is located just steps from the South Weymouth Commuter Rail Station.
