Monica Lopez has been a professional architect for more than 30 years. Her extensive portfolio includes publicly-funded housing, schools, residential and commercial renovations, and private apartment developments. She is a LEED-certified accredited professional (LEED AP), a registered architect in New York State, and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Prior to establishing her own firm in 2012, Monica worked for 12 years as a project manager and associate under the direction of the award-winning architect Warren Gran—a Fellow of the AIA with over 40 years of experience, who served on the New York City Landmarks Preservation Committee and was known for his impeccable business approach and talented design. Warren Gran was Monica’s mentor and advisor, and a major influence on her practice and professional ethics. People often refer to Monica as the “keeper” of his spirit and his approach to public work.
