The Merc Refinanced for $96 Million
The Merc in Waltham has been refinanced by Northland Investment Corporation via New York Life for $96 million.
The building containing 269 luxurious apartments is located in downtown Waltham. It features three new buildings with resident amenities including a sky deck with sweeping views, a billiards room, a fitness center, a business center and on-site parking. 27,500 square feet of retail space is located on The Merc's ground floor. The Merc is steps from multiple dining and entertainment options as well as direct transit service to downtown Boston.
Northland Acquires Newton Warehouse
Newton-based, Northland Investment Corporation has acquired the property at 56 Christina Street in Newton for $12 million. The property features a 2-story 62,972 square-foot industrial building that was constructed in 1966. The structure features multiple loading docks and drive-in doors for transport vehicles.
The 3.4-acre lot, located in Newton, MA sits along the Charles River and a short distance from route I-95.
Waltham’s The Merc now leasing
Luxury apartments at The Merc, a three-building mixed-use development in the heart of walkable Downtown Waltham, are now leasing. The final building at The Merc, which will stand prominently at the intersection of Moody and Main streets, is nearing completion with exterior finishes fully installed. Northland releases preliminary renderings for 30-acre Needham Street development
Newton-based Northland Investment Corporation has released preliminary renderings and details of a proposed 30-acre development that would transform Needham Street in Newton with new residential, office and retail space.
