Permit Pulled for Fit-Out of Yoga Studio at J Malden Center A fit-out permit has been pulled for the Soul City Yoga studio coming to J Malden Center. The project will outfit the space and includes the installation of a new accessible bathroom, reception area, and workout area. The studio is part of the 22,000 plus square feet of retail space within the 3 building J Malden Center project. The development also includes 320 modern apartments and 45,000 square feet of office space for Malden City Hall.

The mixed-use project features a total of 305 modern units along with ground-floor retail and restaurant space. Amenities within the building include an outdoor fitness deck, heated pool, co-working space, and urban farming on the roof deck.

Construction Wrapping Up at 500 Ocean Ave. in Revere Final touches are wrapping up at 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere. The transit-oriented project next to the Blue Line features 305 luxury apartments and over 13,000 square feet of amenity space. The building welcomed first residents this fall and the restaurant Dryft also opened as part of the ground floor retail/restaurant space.

Dryft Restaurant Opens at 500 Ocean Ave. in Revere Dryft is now open as part of the mixed-use project at 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere. The waterfront property features 305 apartments plus ground floor restaurant retail space including the home of Dryft. The 140 seat restaurant will feature a premium raw bar and classic New England seafood selections. Italian-influenced pasta dishes will also compliment the seafood theme. An additional 100 seats are planned for a large outdoor bar area to be added in 2020.

Construction Continues for Park 77 in Cambridge Construction continues for Park 77 in Cambridge at 75 New Street. Park 77 is a new apartment development and is scheduled for completion in 2020. Park 77 will include 93 apartments featuring hardwood floors, stainless appliances, and granite countertops. Resident amenities will include a fitness center, media room, and pet grooming area.

Final Units Set To Open on December 15th, 2019 at J Malden Center J Malden Center is a unique transit-oriented mixed-use development that includes 320 residential apartments, 45,000 square feet of office space that will become the new Malden City Hall, and more than 22,500 square feet of street retail.  First units are now available with the rest of the apartments expected to open in mid-December. Amenities at J Malden Center include a fitness center and mind/body studio, indoor solarium, club lounge, conference space and gaming areas – as well as over 21,000 square feet of outdoor space that features a swimming pool, lawn area, pergolas, fire pits, lawn games, ping pong, and outdoor kitchen and dining areas.  The property also features a roof deck featuring spectacular views of the Boston Skyline.

J Malden Center Expects to Welcome First Residents by End of August Finishing touches are wrapping up on Malden's newest luxury apartment community, J Malden Center. The 320 unit project is now leasing with first move-ins planned for the end of August. Units range in size from 484 square foot studios through two bed/2 baths at over 1300 square feet. J Malden Center also features 22,500 square feet of retail space and earlier this month the first two tenants, Landsmith and Soul City Yoga, were announced. Landsmith is a locally-owned gourmet coffee shop and cafe while Soul City Yoga offers yoga, sculpting, and barre classes.

500 Ocean Ave. Now Leasing With construction wrapping up for the first section of 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere, leasing is underway with first residents expected to take occupancy in early September. The luxury development, along Revere Beach will feature 305 apartments along with 13,000 square feet of amenity space including an outdoor pool, co-working space, and a roof deck with ocean views. Units range in size from 1 through 3 bedrooms and include black kitchen cabinets and slate appliances along with smartphone keyless entry systems and nest thermostats.

Leasing Kicks Off for 3200 Washington JP Leasing has kicked off for Berkeley Investments, 3200 Washington JP, a brand new 73 unit apartment building in Egelston Square. Resident amenities will include a fitness center, garage parking, communal roof deck, courtyard and close proximity to the MBTA and Southwest Corridor Park. The building also includes approximately 3,500 square feet of retail at street level and a lobby that will showcase creative artwork from local artists.   The apartments in the new six-story building range from studios to three-bedrooms with square footages from 434 to 1,232 square feet, and market pricing starting at $2,405. The unit mix at 3200 Washington JP specifically includes 19 studios, 11 one-bedrooms, 34 two-bedrooms, and 9 three-bedrooms, many offering private terraces or outdoor decks in addition to the building’s shared roof deck and courtyard. Of the 73 units, nine have been designated as affordable rental units for qualifying households. Additionally, a separate triple-decker consisting of three additional affordable three-bedroom condominiums also offers affordable ownership opportunities.    Esther Chung Byun, Development Project Manager at Berkeley Investments, says she’s “thrilled that 3200 JP is finally set to open and welcome new residents to the community.” She adds that “the project’s location is highly desirable, with immediate access to the Orange Line as well as numerous parks and community amenities like Jamaica Pond, Southwest Corridor Park and The Brewery, JP’s unique small business complex. We’re also excited about the artwork to be showcased in our lobby that will bring the creative energy of JP inside, as well as the new retail we’ll be adding to a neighborhood that’s already rich with restaurants and small businesses.”   The project will seek LEED Gold certification as it welcomes residents in the summer of 2019.
