RiverBrook Equities (RBE) is a real estate and hospitality investment firm. RBE began by acquiring residential buildings in the tri state area and purchased shopping centers and industrial/commercial in the mid west. Over the past several years the firm expanded into the limited service hospitality arena. Specifically these hotels are within a 2-3 mile radius of the JFK Airport and the outer boro neighborhoods of opportunity. RBE opened seven flagged hotels in gentrified Brooklyn neighborhoods including adjacent to the Barclay Center and around the JFK airport. An additional two hotels are under construction one in the hub of the re gentrified Jamaica Queens area and the other in Long Island City. Others are in the pipe line as well. The room availability for mid scale priced hotel space is strong and there has been limited hotel development in the JFK airport area and other high-gentrified areas. RBE is a fully integrated company that purchases land in opportunistic areas, builds and manages all its hotels. Each hotel carries a flag in the middle rated hospitality category. River Brook Hospitality LLC currently operates these hotels.
