321 Harrison Expansion Tops Off The 8-story addition to the existing garage at 321 Harrison Avenue has topped off. The building will feature 234,000 square feet of office space plus around 2,500 square feet of retail or gallery space on the garage's street level. The existing lobby that connects 1000 Washington Street and the garage will also be reconfigured and renovated as part of the project. Facade & Window Install Progressing at Somerville High School Facade & window install is progressing for the renovation and addition to the Somerville High School. The building which was originally constructed in 1895 and renovated in 1986 will now see around 82,000 square feet updated again along with the addition of 322,000 new space. The new campus will offer space for 1,600 students and is expected to be complete in May 2021. Photo:  

Fuller Middle School

Framing Ongoing for Fuller Middle School in Framingham Steel framing is ongoing for the new Fuller Middle School in Framingham. The 137,000 square foot facility will offer state of the art space for 630 students in grades 6-8.  Common shared spaces within the building will include a media center, cafeteria, maker space, music and art classrooms, fabrication lab, gymnasium, and auditorium.  Construction is expected to wrap up in August 2021.

Exterior Work Ongoing for Addition to Somerville High School Exterior work is ongoing for the addition to Somerville High School. The multi-phased project will preserve the original 1895 school and the front of the 1929 War Memorial Building while adding over 320,000 square feet of space. The new campus will provide a state-of-the-art learning environment for nearly 1,600 students. Construction Continues for Somerville High School Construction is rapidly moving forward for Somerville's new high school project. Along with new classroom space, the  $256 million project will include an athletic field on the high school campus for the first time with a lighted turf field. Now 18 months into construction, the project is more than halfway completed ahead of the expected grand opening in May of 2021.

Structural Steel Up for New Portion of Somerville High School Following the demolition of an existing portion of the high school, structural steel and framing are now up for a new western addition of the building. When complete in May 2021 the new $256M school campus will provide a state-of-the-art, innovative learning environment for nearly 1,600 students.  According to the Building Committee Chair, Tony Pierantozzi, the bulk of the work that produces the loudest noise was completed during summer and school vacations to minimize with disruptions. Currently, an existing portion of the building is being demolished and structural steel is being erected for at western new building. When complete the in May 2021 the new $256M school campus will provide a state-of-the-art, innovative learning environment for nearly 1,600 students.
