One Newton Place Acquired for $50.75 Million Saracen Properties has acquired One Newton Place from Taurus Investment Holdings for $50.75 million. One Newton Place is a four-story, Class A, 172,705 square foot office and retail building with a connected parking structure located immediately adjacent to 313 Washington Street. Both buildings are situated alongside and directly accessible to the Massachusetts Turnpike (U.S. Interstate 90) in the heart of Newton Corner and the epicenter of Newton’s office market.

BPDA approves switch from apartments to condominiums for 99 Tremont Street The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) has given Saracen Properties approval to market 62 newly constructed residences at 99 Tremont Street in Brighton as condominiums, as opposed to apartments as originally approved. Eight condominiums at 99 Tremont Street will be designated affordable. Saracen’s decision to switch 99 Tremont Street to condominiums from apartments comes in light of the Allston-Brighton condominium market’s strong recent performance, including the 85-unit Telford 180 new-construction condominiums selling out pre-completion. A number of new condominium buildings have since been proposed for Allston-Brighton, including 46 units at 46 Hichborn Street and 82 units at 70 Leo M. Birmingham Parkway.

Dellbrook | JKS completes Phase I of 99 Tremont Street, new Brighton luxury apartments now leasing Dellbrook | JKS has completed Phase I of the 62-residence 99 Tremont Street luxury apartment development in Brighton, with studio, one and two-bedroom residences now available for lease. Luxurious finishes have been installed throughout the Phase I building’s residences and amenity spaces, which include a fitness area and a common room. Construction of Phase II is nearing completion and will feature additional residences, along with a landscaped courtyard. 99 Tremont Street is located steps from Brighton’s Oak Square, a short drive or express bus ride to Downtown Boston. Facade nearly complete at 99 Tremont Street Apartments in Brighton Exterior finishes have been fully installed along the 4-story front section of 99 Tremont Street Apartments, a luxury apartment development built by Dellbrook | JKS. Finishes are now being installed along the facade of 99 Tremont’s 5-story rear section, in addition to windows and moisture-resistant sheathing. Interior finishes are being installed in front section residences, and interior framing is underway within the rear section. When complete, 99 Tremont will feature 62 luxury apartment residences located convenient to Brighton’s Oak Square and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Dellbrook | JKS installs finishes at 99 Tremont Street Apartments in Brighton Dellbrook | JKS has installed exterior finishes along 99 Tremont Street Apartments’ facade fronting Tremont Street. The four-story building section along Tremont Street is topped off and fully sealed with windows and moisture-resistant sheathing. The five-story section at the property’s rear is just about topped off, with installation of the last wood framing sections underway. Framing of interior apartments and installation of electrical, HVAC and plumbing utilities is underway. 99 Tremont Street Apartments will open to residents in Spring 2017. Foundations are being dug at 99 Tremont Street Apartments by the Dellbrook Construction/JK Scanlan Company team. The team is hard at work transforming a formerly vacant lot into a 62-unit residential development. 99 Tremont Street Apartments will bring an increased residential presence to Oak Square, an eclectic commercial center in Boston's Brighton neighborhood.
