Building Permit Issued for 20 Unit Project on Dudley St. in Dorchester
A building permit has been issued for the demo of the existing structures on-site at 734 Dudley Street in Dorchester and for the new construction of the 5-story building that will take their place. The new project will feature 20 apartments along with just over 3,000 square feet of retail space. A ground-floor parking garage at the project will have room for 11 cars.

734 Dudley Street, a new mixed-use development located in Dorchester featuring 20 apartment residences and 3,032 square feet of ground-floor retail, was approved at last night (June 15th, 2017)’s Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board Meeting. Three residences at 734 Dudley Street will be designated affordable. Construction of the building is anticipated to commence by Fall 2017, with expected completion in Spring 2018. 734 Dudley Street will require additional approval by the City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) in order to proceed with construction.

Developer Valdemiro Pina proposes to construct a new $5 million mixed-use building at 734 Dudley Street in the heart of Dorchester’s Uphams Corner. The building would contain 20 apartment residences with 3,032 square feet of ground-floor retail. Construction of the building is anticipated to commence by Fall 2017, with expected completion in Spring 2018. The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) is now reviewing the plans for this project.
