$10M Construction Loan Secured for Everett Multifamily Project While early stage construction kicked off a few months ago, United Properties has now secured $10M in construction financing for 30 Beacham Street in Everett via North Shore Bank. The project will convert the former Exxon office building into 51, modern, 1-bedroom apartments. The building, just a few blocks from the Encore Resort, will also offer a roof deck and fitness center for residents.

The building which sits on the Roxbury/Dorchester line, near the Newmarket MBTA station and the South Bay Center will feature  27 studios, 18 one-bedrooms, and 12 two-bedrooms along with a resident clubroom and fitness center.

$14.5M Building Permit Pulled for 21-35 W. 2nd Street A permit valued at $14.5M has been pulled to kick off construction for 21-35 West Second Street in South Boston. The upcoming 6-story building will feature 55 residential units and approximately 2,600 square feet of retail space. The project was approved in January 2019.

Mixed-Use Project Under Review for 1201 River St. in Hyde Park A mixed-use use project to feature 48 condo units and around 730 square feet of ground-floor retail space is now under review for 1201 River Street in Hyde Park. The building will also include parking for 50 cars and 60 bicycles. The proposed project is located within a few blocks of two MBTA two commuter rail stations, Hyde Park and Fairmount and will also include a courtyard for residents.

Units will be a mix of studio, 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR units. As the site is located approximately 400 feet from the Massachusetts Avenue MBTA Orange Line 0 parking spaces are included on-site.

No parking would be included on-site as the project is located just steps from the Orange Line.
