10-Story Mixed-Use Project Planned for South Capitol Corner
The owners of the Cap Liquor store on South Capitol Street have filed plans to construct a 10-story mixed-use project on the site. The development would include 49 residential units along with 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail and 4,560 square feet of second-floor office space. Per the filing, Chun and his family have owned these properties for over 20 years and are seeking to invest further into their community through the provision of additional housing and retail/commercial space in the area.
